SO… THIS WEEKEND DIDN’T QUITE GO TO PLAN.
For those who were there, you would have seen that this weekend didn’t go so great for Connor.
Today, we might feel a little defeated… but that doesn’t mean we’re done.
We’ll go home, assess what happened, why it happened, and what we need to do next. Whether that means continuing with this setup or building something bigger, better and stronger — we’ll figure it out.
One thing we WILL NOT be changing is the motor setup, he’s keeping the TURBO LS.
That part has well and truly been mastered, with THREE turbo setups now fabricated and designed by Connor himself — with even more already in the pipeline under the Full Send Kustoms NZ name.
And with Toni behind him, pushing him and never letting him give up…just keep watching this space.
SO WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED?
The last couple of weeks have been absolute chaos.
We’ve had motors being rebuilt, going in, coming back out to fix things, and eventually a whole new motor for [GEORGE] Krunkk Motorsport.
Then [SIK31] ended up with the motor out of the street SIK31.
And yes… if you haven’t realised yet — THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE CARS NOW! 😂
Same setups, except the street car is MANUAL👀
So when the swap was done, the one thing that wasn’t an easy swap was the trans setup, so that setup stayed in there.
So, in true Connor fashion…
FULL SEND IT WAS….
We did a quick standstill test at home and thought everything was looking good…
Clearly, it wasn’t….
And when it all went pear-shaped, Toni’s heart absolutely broke for Connor.
But did we pack up and leave?
HELL NO!!
We stayed.
We supported our burnout family.
We cheered everyone on through the Top 10 in Open and Pro Classes.
And seeing some of our close burnout family take those top spots made the weekend worth it.
Along with watching [GEORGE] do all the right things after their little hiccup — keep an eye out for their post — and hearing those beautiful turbo LS noises absolutely sing.
At the end of the day, that’s what this is about.
The cars. The builds. The people. The friendships. The support. The community.
We may have had a rough weekend, but we are NOT STOPPING.
There is SO much happening behind the scenes right now, and we’ve got plenty more to come.

Every follow, share, message, bit of support, encouragement and every person who stands beside us means more than you know.
We’ll regroup.
