The last of the finals preview and team lists is the Senior Boys Div 1 final between unbeaten Wairarapa College & Kuranui College.
Wairarapa College have had a stellar season so far beating every team in Div 1 and winning the minor premiership, The Jon Dudley coached Wai Col side were pushed by Kuranui in the last game of the competition round early but came back strongly in the game to win by a comfortable margin.
Kuranui College the second seeds have proved to be deserved finalists, with just the two losses to Wai Col this season. Last weeks elimination semi against Rathkeale tested them as Rathkeale put up a decent lead in the first half but Kuranui came out in the second half with the want and desire to make the final.
Wai Col will start as red hot favourites but don’t right off the Steve Hinton coached Kuranui side, if they can stay in the game for the full 40 they will be a real threat in the dying minutes.

The next final to preview is the Senior Boys Div 2 Final, Kuranui College Senior Bs up against Chanel College.
Number one seeded Kuranui were first to qualify for finals night with a nail biter win over over number two seeded Wharekura in the Major Semi Final by three points.
third seeded Chanel College dispatched of forth seeded Rathkeale College Senior Bs in the Minor Semi and then had to face Wharekura in the Preliminary Semi, which Chanel knocked over Wharekura 55-31 to earn a spot in the finals night.
This final will be a good one to watch with some good ball players in both teams, this is the second game up on finals night.

The second of our finals preview of team lists sees the Junior Boys Div 1 Final;
🟢🔴Rathkeale Junior A vs 🔴⚫️Makoura Junior A
Rathkeale went through the round robin unbeaten and were the minor premiers, Second ranked Makoura lay in wait in the Major Semi Final, and booked first dibs into the final.
Rathkeale had to take the long road to the final playing Kuranui A in the elimination semi final, this game made Rathkeale have to work hard after being down at halftime, but a third quarter surge and a strong forth quarter saw them qualify for the final.
