Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, have a training session or simply give your horse a change of scenery, Solway Showgrounds has a great range of equestrian facilities available for hire.

🏇 Cross Country Course – with a variety of jumps, including water.

🏇 Small and Large Sand Arenas – suitable for lessons, jumping and more.

Please remember that riders must be accompanied when using the cross country course or sand arena, and current safety helmets and back protectors are required for cross country.

🌿 WHERE ARE WE?
We are located in the Grandstand at Solway Showgrounds, Masterton.

🚗 IMPORTANT: PLEASE USE THE JUDDS ROAD ENTRANCE!
When you’re heading to the market, look for Judds Road and enter the Showgrounds from there.

Once you’re here, there is plenty of parking on Judds Road and the carparks around the Grandstand, and you’ll find the market area by following the signs and the people. ❤️

🧹A Little Housekeeping Reminder Around the Grounds🐴🐶

We love seeing our grounds being enjoyed by everyone, but we need a little help keeping them clean, safe and enjoyable for all.

A few friendly reminders:

🐶 Please pick up after your dogs — dog poo bags are great, but please make sure they make it into the bin!

🐴 Please pick up horse poo around the grounds, arenas and shared areas.

🗑️ Please take care of your rubbish and put it in the bins provided, or take it home with you if the bins are full.

⚠️ 🏇Safety first: If you are riding in the arenas or the cross-country paddock, you MUST have someone else with you at all times. Please don’t ride alone.

These little things make a big difference and help us keep the grounds looking great and everyone safe.❤️

Our Kids Market is coming to Gather Wairarapa! 🎉

We’re looking for young people who would love to have their own stall and share what they make, grow, bake or create! 🧁🌱🎨

Maybe they make crafts, delicious treats, jewellery, candles, artwork or grow plants? Perhaps they offer face painting or another fun activity? Or maybe they’re part of a school, sports team, club or community group raising funds? 🙌

This is a fantastic opportunity for our young locals to have a go at running their own little business, meet customers and have some fun! 💰💪
