This Saturday afternoon we are helping this year’s Hutt Valley NZDA HUNTS course students to set up for success.
We are running a dedicated session for the students to assess what equipment they have, and to help them get it set up to them individually. Followed by an overview of the fundamentals to build strong foundations for their marksmanship.
Then it’s onto the range for zeroing and prepping them for handover to the great team of HUNTS instructors who will take them through a stack of valuable lessons in the coming weeks.
This is what we exist for, helping people get the best from their equipment and themselves.

We got issued a breach notice for our content when we created this page……
Which was interesting as we had nothing but a profile picture and the exact information that we still have today…… fast forward and now allegedly we’re no longer breaching those standards (whatever they are cos you can’t find them and they refuse to clarify them for you)
But hey. We will take it.
Let’s see how long this lasts.

We dropped a nugget of useful information on YouTube this week.
We had a customer ask us to fit their new scope as they weren’t too sure how to make it fit them the same way their last scope did as it was set up perfectly.
It’s a handy trick to match that same focal point you had when switching optics. And if you tweak it a bit, you can actually mark on the stock where your eye will be when you’re naturally rested on your stock in your preferred position.
Then you can match the eye relief of the scope to that.
