Game On! Our Y5-6 Basketball League starts today! 🏀

Today is all about having a go, learning new skills, and having fun as we kick things off with a 4x4 "Give It a Go" basketball session led by Terry and Renee.

📍 Doors open: 3.30pm

We're excited to welcome all our tamariki and get the season underway. A special thank you to Nuku Ora, whose support and funding have enabled us to offer this fantastic opportunity free for participating whānau.

The wait is over! Grab your mates, whānau, work crew or teammates and join us for another exciting 8-week Spring Social League.
Whether you're playing to win, keep fit, or just enjoy a run with friends, this league is all about bringing our community together through the game we love.

Every team that enters is helping support the future of basketball in Wainuiomata, with all proceeds going directly towards the Wainuiomata High School Basketball Programme.

🏀 Men's League – Thursdays (from 24 September)

🕖 7:00pm–10:00pm
💲 $350 per team

The students from Wainuiomata High School Basketball who attended the Hoop Nation Tournament during the last week of the school holidays would like to acknowledge and thank the amazing businesses, whānau, and community groups who got behind us.

Because of your support, our students not only looked professional in their new uniforms, but 16 young men were also able to experience a tournament that only one player had attended before. Opportunities like this create memories, growth, confidence, and experiences that go far beyond basketball.
