Congratulations to Tyrone Robinson on being named the 2026 Hutt Valley Sports Awards Junior Sportsman of the Year.

Tyrone's softball journey this past season has seen him proudly represent Hutt Valley Marist, Hutt Valley, and New Zealand, and this award is fitting recognition of the hard work, commitment, and performances that have taken him to the ultimate representative level.

While we're incredibly proud of his achievements on the diamond, we're equally proud of the young man he is off it. Tyrone is a fantastic role model for our younger players and a great example of what can be achieved through dedication, perseverance, and a love of the game.

From Marist, to Hutt Valley, to New Zealand — we're proud to be part of your journey. Congratulations, Tyrone.

On World Softball/Baseball Day, we’re celebrating the women who:

✔️ Know where every missing sock, belt and glove is
✔️ Spend half their Summer at the ball park
✔️ Have mastered the art of sideline scoring/commentary
✔️ Come prepared for every possible kind of weather
✔️ Somehow survive weekends getting all their kids to their different games 🚘

Champions of Oceania 🇳🇿🥎

Over the weekend, the NZ U18 Men got the job done at the Oceania Qualifier, locking in their place at the 2027 World Cup in Czechia.

Massive effort from our Marist boys Tyrone and Shia — with Tyrone leading from the mound and stepping up when the pressure was on 💪

This is just the beginning for these incredibly talented athletes. Locked in for 2027, and ready to put in the mahi.
