Over the ANZAC weekend I had the opportunity to compete at the North Island Disc Golf Championships at Buckley Golf Club in Shannon, and what an experience it was 🙌🏽🥏

Amazing course design with some challenging shots ,great conditions, and a strong MA40 field that really pushed me to lift my game. Plenty of ups and downs across the rounds, but also some solid moments where things clicked. Took away some valuable lessons that I’ll be building on as I keep progressing on this journey.

A massive thank you to Disc Shop Disc Golf and the Disc Shop crew for putting together such an awesome tournament, everything run smoothly all weekend it was top notch 👏🏽

Also grateful to everyone I had the chance to share a round with. Good yarns, good competition, and all round good people, that’s what makes these events special.

Stoked that I won a raffle and now have my very own Zucca cart.

Looking forward to coming back again in the future and having another crack 💪🏽

Ngā mihi,

Kia ora e te whānau,

Blessed to be competing at the Disc Golf North Island Champs at Buckley — mean course, loving it out here 🙌🏽🥏

Practice round felt good, but Day 1 was a bit up and down. Had some inconsistent holes, but also a few where everything clicked and I played how I know I can.

Today’s about cleaning that up, staying focused, and putting together a full consistent round.

One shot at a time. Let’s go 💪🏽
