End of season prizegiving is on Monday, 30th March, 6pm at the Fairfield School Hall. Bring a plate for sharing.

Some of our athletes are heading to Palmy tomorrow for the Centre Children's and Teams Champs. Looking forward to a great day. Levin are assigned to running the discus event, so parents please be prepared to come and help with that. You'll still be able to see lots of your childrens' events from there. I'll have Club uniforms for any athletes who don't have one.

Entries for this close tomorrow, 8th March, so please get your entries in ASAP.

Reminder that Levin Athletics Ribbon Day is this Sunday. For our visitors - we highly recommend that athletes wear shoes of some sort as we have a bad prickle problem.

Sunday, 1st March at Waiopehu College.
$10 entry fee. Grades 6 - 14, with a short session for the 5 and unders.
Register from 9.30am. First events at 10am. Programme and Flyer attached. Please this with other Athletics Clubs.

Lot's of people are asking if Athletics Club Night is going ahead tonight.
The 5pm Get, Set, Go Session for Grade 6 and under is cancelled for today - see you next week.
The 6pm session for Grades 7 and Up will go ahead at this stage if the weather doesn't get worse. No high jump though sorry. The programme will depend on how many people turn up.

Coaching Opportunity for parents, coaches and athletes (Grade 10 and up), Sunday 25th January at the Massey Track in Palmerston North.
High Jump clinic for 10-14 year olds (10am-11am)
Horizontal Jumps (Long Jump/Triple Jump) (11.15am-12.15pm)
High Jump clinic for Grade 15+ (12.30pm-1.30pm).

Levin Athletics Club - Home 5pm-6pm: Run,Jump,Throw and Get, Set, Go programmes for younger children (6 years old & younger). **Starts 20th October.

Good luck to our athletes who are competing in the North Island Colgate Games in Tauranga over the next three days. Ava, Bessie, Emil, and Saylor.
Caitlin and Emma are competing in the South Island Games in Nelson the following weekend.
