The lads are back for round 3 of the Hilux Heartland Championship where they'll be trekking over the hills to take on neighbours Wairarapa Bush with the PGG Wrightson Cup on the line. They'll be looking to continue their winning ways after last weekends triumph!

We also have another couple of debutants putting the red, white and blue on for the first time this weekend. Congratulations to Genesis Mamea-Lemalu and PJ Iakopo. If you're after a Saturday roadie, grab the kids, chuck on your red, white and blue and head over to support the lads! UPTHENUA 🔴⚪🔵

Over the weekend saw two of our representative sides take the field, with our Heartland team taking a convincing win over Poverty Bay, while unfortunately our HK Māori side went down to a strong Northern Whanganui team.

Saturdays Heartland fixture also saw two very notable achievements. Ezekiel Fiso, now representative number 1468, made his debut for the red, white and blue and was presented with his player tie, while Darren Falaniko notched up game 25 and was presented with his HK blazer. Congratulations to both men, you should both be very proud of your achievements. UPTHENUA 🔴⚪🔵

Lads are on for Round 2 of the Hilux Heartland Championship! The team travel up the road to Gisborne to take on Poverty Bay where they'll be looking to secure their first road win of the season.

Congratulations to Ezekiel who will make his debut for the red, white and blue, but an even bigger congratulations to Darren Falaniko who, if he gets on to the paddock, earns his blazer this weekend notching up his 25th game for the Nua.
