𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻.

Sean and David had been awake for twenty four hours straight, fixing, cleaning, wiring and doing whatever it took to get ProSwing ready. When the newspaper finally came off the windows, we realised we were only a few hours away from golfers seeing the place for the first time.

It had been a hell of a journey just getting to that moment!
Little did we know two years later, in our Second building and so so many golf balls hit and the amazing support of Northland we are about to celebrate our Second Birthday!

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆.

Projects set up. Screens aligned. A last minute early morning run to Auckland to grab custom display cables because nothing else would work. Once everything was plugged in and behaving, the whole place finally felt like it was ready for real golfers.

This was the day before opening. We were cutting it close and there was still a full nonstop twenty four hours ahead of us, but we got there.

Check in tomorrow for the moment we knew Sean had lost his mind.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻.

Once the screens were finally standing, we realised the room still felt like a construction site. Rolling out the turf changed everything. It was the first moment the place actually looked like somewhere you would want to swing a club.

Hard to believe this was still only days before opening. We were racing the clock, sorting cables, fixing lighting and trying to make sure everything looked right for day one.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘖𝘶𝘳 2𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘴.

Spots are filling fast and the Saturday Scramble kicks off this weekend.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴!.
After way too many early mornings and late nights of building, cleaning and getting everything in place, this swing was the moment the whole thing finally felt real.

We still had a long way to go and it is crazy to think this was only a few days before opening, before any of the tech was installed.

With no launch monitors running we will never know if that first shot was straight down the middle or thirty metres right, but we have a pretty good idea where it would have ended up.

Before ProSwing became the first dedicated indoor golf sims in Northland, it was an empty building that needed serious cleaning and a whole lot of belief. What you see here is the very start. Day one!

This week we celebrate our second birthday and we want to give credit to every friend and family member who helped build this place. Massive days. Long nights. People turning up with tools, food and energy. ProSwing exists because of them.
