👋As we wrap up an epic first season as kaitiaki of the Dave Hume Pool, we want to thank you for your support and share a few highlights🩵

We kicked things off with a splashing pool party, was a part of the National Jazz Festival with our first Swim ’n’ Jazz, hosted the first ever Katikati Swim/Walk Challenge, and brought plenty of special moments to the community. From hundreds of laps swum to lengths walked, inflatables, school swim sports, and Children’s Day celebrations - there really has been something for everyone.
It’s also been fantastic to see BaySwim in action, alongside yoga with Victoria and Aquafit led by Chloe from AquaFit Katikati. Our new outdoor gym has been another great addition for the community to enjoy.

We’ve loved every minute - see you in Spring! 🩵

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟲𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 🏊‍♂️
Before most of the town is awake, this dedicated crew is already poolside at the crack of dawn, ready to dive into another challenge. More than just committed swimmers, they are a group of great mates who start each morning with laughter, support, and their famous "Are we still alive?" mental health check-in!
A huge congratulations to 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀, who took out the award for completing the Katikati Swim/Walk Challenge in the fastest time. 🏆 Every member of the group received a participation certificate, celebrating their commitment, perseverance, and the positive energy they bring to our mornings throughout the challenge.
