Amazing job to complete the mezzanine ceiling of Te Punaora - by Northland Interiors & Kaitaia Peter Covich Electrical over the kura holiday break. The Kura ran out of funds in 2007 to finish the ceiling. Already the warmth and lighting is better.
We are awaiting some drainage work before we start part 2 of the project - to concrete the front of Te Punawaiora. At the return of the Kaitaia Airport hui held at Te Punawaiora 2024 and the hui Mana Wāhine Toko i Te Ora - I saw our tira taki , doing the wero in puddles and accessibility for kuia & kaumātua were'nt great .
MESH - voluntary team of local sports enthusiasts - is committed to keeping the event facility in a high standard.
