We have five applications signed as Nominations and also the Proposer
These are
Chair : Brent Sullivan
Treasurer : Mark Browne

Officers of the Board : John Simpson ,Richard Seddon

We now need someone to move that these five take the position of officers .
Also a seconded

Going forward is there anyone else interested in taking a position within this Board?

5)Chairman’s Report :
We have set up a Constitution,to give the club access to a bank account .

C)Waiver forms ,to release any liability on behalf of our club
D)Two six seater Wakas ,Gooches and South Bay

6)General Business :
Club fees ,$40 per season ,1st November to 31st October the following year.

Overall encouragement of growing the club and supporting our community

Hi all to those interested.

From next week we will have two set club days

Wednesdays 5 45 pm

Saturdays 9 30 am

For cancellations you will need to check on this page. A cancellation notice will be no later than midday on the day of paddling.

I will post each Monday or Tuesday of the Wednesday club paddle and on that post you comment YES to indicate you are coming

I will post each Thursday or Friday of the Saturday club paddle
In comments YES if you are coming,

We will have two options now of paddling either Sth Bay or Gooches.It will primarily be from Gooches as the paddles and life jackets are stored there.

Will see how this runs for a while.
We are excited as there is a lot of interest.

Kia ora all,
I have been asked if we would join this Community Event coming up in October called "Haere Tahi Tatou, (Journeying Together). It on Saturday 24th October and they would like to know if our roopu would like to paddle along the Esplanade while those on land are doing the hikoi??

Haere Tahi Tatou, Journeying Together is a Community Event sponsored by KDC in Kaikoura where we can come together and Celebrate the Life of our loved ones who have passed on, Celebrate the Life we have now and Life that is yet to come, the next generation.

I wonder if we have a club day that sat and join in this ????

If whanau can let me know if they are keen ??? So I can go back to the organiser please…
