Waimak United Football Club is one of the largest sports clubs in North Canterbury. Our office is in the Sports Hub at MainPower Stadium on Coldstream Road.

Waimak United are a community football club offer footballing opportunities from 2 years to over 50's, with a mixture of social and competitive teams. Waimak United is one of the largest sports club in North Canterbury, and one of the biggest football clubs in Canterbury. We have grounds at Kendall park on Island Road, Kaiapoi, and Maria Andrews on Coldstream Road in Rangiora.

Mainland football are hosting a Female Only Futsal Referee Level 1 Course, open to all new and existing referees, including those who have completed the Football Referee Level 1 course.

Whether you’re starting your refereeing journey or expanding your skillset into futsal, this course is a great opportunity to build confidence and capability on the court.

✅What an amazing season we had together; everyone took to the new WOF 2.0 changes like ducks to water. Countless goals scored, skills learnt, friendships made and memories full of pride & joy that we hope will stay with our youngest Waimak United FC players for a lifetime.

🍭Special thanks to our Coaches & Team Managers for all of your extra efforts this season. Thank you to our volunteers who helped with the BBQ (a special thank you to Steffi for showing up everuy week to support our staff team at the shed!)

👏 ACADEMY GRADUATES

A huge congratulations to four of our Academy graduates who featured for our First Team in Saturday’s final league game of the season against league champions Nomads United!

🔴 Luca Dale & RJ Moana — making their senior debuts for the club.

⚫ Jasper Rosewarne & Logan Dale — making their first starts for the First Team.

A special mention also goes to fellow Academy graduate Sam Gent, who scored his first senior hat-trick to help secure a thrilling 4–3 win over Nomads! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

A massive day for Christchurch football this Saturday! ⚽️🏆

Both of New Zealand’s major Cup Finals are being played right here in Christchurch at One NZ Stadium, with two local sides representing our region on the national stage.

Entry is FREE, so it would be great to see the Canterbury football community get behind both games and pack out the stadium.
