Congratulations to Chris Herman who was awarded Life Membership of Invercargill Musical Theatre at our AGM last night.
Chris first became involved with IMT in 1998 when he joined the sound team for West Side Story. Since then he has been involved in around 40 productions in various roles: cue caller, sound assistant, sound designer, sound operator and manager.
Now working professionally in the sound industry, Chris still gives countless voluntary hours back to our
society. Whether it’s looking after and maintaining our sound gear, attending rehearsals or setting up equipment for events such as our auditions and Nights at IMT, he is always there or just a phone call away.
Chris very generously gives his time and expertise to support IMT in many ways and we are delighted to recognise him with Life Membership.
