Some interesting extra detail for you about these beautiful ladies from yesterday’s The Ned Prix De Fashion final at the Ellerslie Racecourse.

Christine Livingstone (left) hails from Invercargill - and was yesterday wearing a dress, that she wore when she was selected in the finals of Melbourne Cup’s fashion in the field, last November.
Many of her outfits and fascinators are made in Australia and she’s already got some exciting options in line for this year’s Melbourne Cup, she tells me. I’m sure she’ll look stunning.

Pauline Pattullo ,of Banks Peninsula, won the fashion in the field event at the Southland Racing Club last year, and was representing the province in Auckland yesterday. Her striking outfit was created by Mikhal Design of Christchurch, who also had another dress in the finals yesterday.

The colour and creativity at yesterday‘s event was breathtaking - don’t worry about what the horses are doing, it was about dressing up and looking gorgeous. # #
