SBA recently concluded our Secondary Schools league with an exciting night of finals!

Congratulations to all teams and a massive thank you to the coaches, administrators, officials, volunteers, parents and players who make this happen year after year. Best of luck to our Year 13s on their next chapters, and we hope to see the rest of you back next year.

Yesterday we kicked off our Term 3 Basketball New Zealand 2degrees Girls Got Game and Bank of New Zealand BNZ Kiwi Hoops programming in Invercargill, and WOW - what a turnout! 🏀🤩

Energy was high, and BNZ KH campers got a surprise visit from some special guest coaches: Southland Sharks player Max Darling and Head Coach Jonathan Yim, who graciously gave their time during a very busy Grand Finals Week. 🦈🧡💙

Our GGG participants started their programme with a goals session where we identified the strengths that each girl brings to her teams and skills they hope to explore during GGG, which we will revisit over the next 6 weeks. We were also happy to welcome back Zara, a recent GGG alumna, as an assistant coach. Her goal: to help more girls fall in love with basketball! 🩷

Our community coaching teams are excited to support our tamariki in their basketball journeys this term!
