Some eagle-eyed marching enthusiasts have already spotted our updates before I had the chance to announce them! π€π Well done to all the fellow marching nerds who caught the updates in real time!
For everyone else... here you go! π
Head over and check out the latest updates and newly uploaded videos on the Marching New Zealand YouTube Channel. The 2025 Championships are now live! ππΏ
Wondering why they're only being uploaded now? We know many people purchase the championship USBs, and we felt it would be in poor taste to upload the videos too soon after the event. We wanted to make sure those who supported the USB release had the chance to enjoy them first.
So grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy! πΏπ₯

Thank you for your help

In Loving Memory of Peter Little
It is with great sadness that we remember Peter Little, a much-loved and respected member of the marching community.
Peterβs involvement in marching began in 1964, after his daughters became involved. Before long, all four of his daughters were marching, and Peter became deeply involved in the sport himself.
By the late 1970s, Peter was President of the Southland Marching Centre. He was a highly respected judge, judging at both South Island and National level, and was well known in his day as a top display judge. He also served as a Board Member of the New Zealand Marching Association and was a manager of the Rosedale Kilties teams.
Peter was honoured as a Life Member of Marching Southland, as well as being made a Life Member of Marching New Zealand in 1991, recognising his significant contribution to the sport.
Although he stepped away from active involvement in the late 1990s, Peter continued to follow and take an interest in marching throughout the years. We were honoured to have Peter join us at the last Nationals hosted in Southland in 2025.
His dedication and contribution have left a lasting legacy in Marching Southland and across New Zealand, and he will be remembered by the many people and generations of marchers whose lives he touched.
Rest peacefully, Peter. Your contribution to marching will never be forgotten.
Congratulations to our own Meah Ayto!
Meah has been selected for the NZ Drill Team and will travel to Avenches, Switzerland, to march at the Avenches Tattoo.
What an incredible opportunity and achievement!
Congratulations Meah, we are so proud of you and can't wait to follow your journey! β€οΈπ³πΏ

Our deepest condolences go to Dawnβs family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
