Thank you Brendon and the Marrah Painting & Decorating team for your continued support of our juniors, particularly of our Southern Football Development League team over the past 3 years. Your ongoing support has contributed immensely to this team's success and to its travel around the Southern Football region.

It's sad to see you close your doors Brendon, but we are sure that fantastic opportunities await you. Our best wishes go to you and your team.

After 34 years in the painting and decorating trade, Brendon has made the difficult decision to close Marrah Painting & Decorating and pursue a new opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of the work we have completed over the years — from new homes and renovations to residential repaints and commercial projects — and, most importantly, the relationships we have built along the way.

A huge thank you to our wonderful clients, staff, suppliers, family and friends for your support, loyalty and trust over the past 16 years here in Southland. It has meant so much to us.

While it is bittersweet to close the doors today, we are excited to see what the next chapter brings.

What a weekend for the club! Three wins out of three for our Premier teams, silverware for the trophy cabinet, and two teams finishing the season in 3rd place. 🏆🥳

⚽ Southern Premier League
A huge 4-1 win keeps the top-four push alive with just two games remaining. Will Fleming, James Fleming, Florence Edson and Jayden Dawson all found the net, with Jayden’s 52nd-minute free kick sealing a commanding victory.

⚽ Southland Premier Men
A crucial 4-2 win keeps the boys on top of the table heading into a massive final day against Winton. Our Golden Boot leader Sam Christie struck twice in eight minutes, before Barrix and Cody added the finishing touches after Waihopai fought back before halftime.

🏆 Southland Premier Women
History made! After six weeks of hard work defending the Ottley Challenge Trophy, the women have brought it home to Waverley Park for the first time in 20 years! A convincing 3-0 win featured a goal from Cass Christie and two classy finishes from breakout striker Tamsyn Campbell. More to come on this incredible team! 👏

The celebrations continue after lifting the trophy last week! 🏆

Both teams wrapped up their seasons in 3rd place, with Division 2 sharing the spoils with Te Anau at O’Rorke Park.
