IN SEARCH OF COACHES
(To assist our current coaches in aim to keep our groups small)
Hey horsey people out there!
Remember when you were first learning to ride and you had that person next to you on the ground with a calm voice and giving you advice and pointers to become a confident rider?
We are in search of such a person!
You don’t need to have heaps of experience to become a coach at pony club as long as you have a passion for horse riding and like to work with young people.
We have about 20 riders in our club and aim to keep the groups not larger than 4 riders. Most kids are at D+ level which means they have the basics under control and are ready to move up a step and start learning to ask more of their ponies and learning to jump. They will also start to learn more about health, paddocking and general care of their pony.
We have our rallies at the Equestrian Centre on a Wednesday night from 6.30 pm till 8pm.
The rallies will start up again in February and run until daylight savings end, which is the first weekend of April.
If this has sparked your interest or you think you know someone who would be suitable, please message us!
