Hey troups, who would be interested in a casual hit round for the next couple of months? Skills, drills and games. Would be a small cost (I.e $5 per session). Sunday's from 2pm through til beginning of Nov then we could shift to Wednesday nights through til Xmas. Good training for you masters for Feb. Comment as Sunday's, Wednesday's, both of none.
BOT are just exploring options as feedback was that people want to keep playing post Nationals. Would be open to anyone not just rep players however

Hi Guys!
So i'm in a bit of a (good) pickle as TIC of Volleyball at SGHS as I don't have enough coaches to coach kids wanting to play volleyball!! Now that we have the new stadium it seems volleyball is gaining a bit more momentum and becoming a popular sport again!

I can convince senior students to coach my junior teams but I have had 46 senior girls sign up to play this term but only myself and possibly Anastasia to coach them! I don;t want to turn kids away because there is no one to coach them :(

What I'm asking is are any of you even slightly interested in coaching a team for me?? It only involves basic skills as often many of these seniors pick up the game as a bit of fun and haven't got much experience playing.

BONUS: The season is only 6 weeks long! Games are Wednesday avo/nights and wont clash with our games as we dont start prem league til April or so so it isn't a huge commitment timeframe wise - hey if I can do it on top of teaching in a new subject area, planning a wedding and building a house it will be a walk in the park for you lot! haha

Women ref 6.30pm court 2, and play 7.30pm court 2 & 8.30pm court 7

Good work Emma for organising all the troops. Let's help her out by all bringing our subs ($30) next Monday 6.30pm at SGHS gym. Last practice before games start so if everyone could make a good effort to make it then each team can sort out their positions and rotations. Go SS's!

Hi all no training tomorrow night, netball semi finals are on so quite a few ladies are out & I (Alex) won't be there to supply balls and sort court hire so easier to just miss this week. Can all players please confirm availability to play in the premier league by the end of the week. A post or comment to this or the page is fine as entries are due ASAP. As Emma posted up, if anyone is keen for a hit tomorrow night the Southland Womens team would like opponents for a game tomorrow night at the stadium 6.30-8pm, head along if your free!

Great hit tonight guys, will be a weekly thing on Monday's 6.30pm at SGHS gym til the comp starts on the 10th September. Bring some money to contribute to the court hire each week
