A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to celebrate our 2026 season!!!

At our club prize-giving, hosted at the Glenview Club.

Have a look at the pictures of our amazing award winners - it was very hard to select our winners this season with so many our club members doing so much for their team and our club!

Big highlights of the night!

Long service award badges were handed out to two of our club members reaching 20 years' service to our club!
Well done to Karen and Nadine for achieving this!

And another true club member - Merv!!! It is a huge honor to add your name to our club's Life Members (alongside of Gary Rae, Phil Limmer, Stephen Butcher and Nicola Bettridge) --- it is pretty cool to be able to add a 5th name to our club's life member list and the club thanks' you for your service to our club and the community of hockey.

Thanks again to all our club members - you all have made 2026 a successful one!

Thanks again to our sponsors!

📣🚴‍♀️ Let's get behind one of our own! 🚴‍♀️📣

Our Swampfrog Old Girls family is incredibly proud of Talya Berry who, alongside Amara Jones, will take on the monumental challenge of cycling the length of New Zealand from Cape Reinga to Bluff, starting on 1 November 2026.

They're riding to raise awareness and funds for I AM HOPE / Gumboot Friday, helping provide free mental health counselling and support for young New Zealanders.
This challenge will test them physically and mentally over thousands of kilometres, but it's for a cause close to their hearts, one that can make a real difference in a young person's life.

💙 If you're able, please consider supporting their Givealittle page. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly towards helping young Kiwis access the support they need through I AM HOPE / Gumboot Friday.

Nostalgia!
🏑 A fantastic blast from the past! 🏑

This newspaper photo from July 1975 captures Old Boys Hockey in action at Glenview Park. More than 50 years later, it is still great to see these moments preserved!
Do you recognise any of the players or remember this match? We'd love to hear your memories in the comments!
