As another football season comes to an end, we want to give a massive shout-out to our awesome local supporters, Loxies!

So many POTD fries vouchers have been handed out to our players again this season 🍟⚽️

We’re incredibly grateful for your ongoing support of our club and our kids. It means so much to have local businesses getting behind our community and helping make football even more special for our players.

Attention all First Kickers! ⚽️💛

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to training or prizegiving tonight. It was so lovely to see you all and celebrate our youngest players! 🏆

We do still have quite a list of unreturned First Kicks shirts. If you have one at home, please make sure it is returned:

🕘 Saturday, between 9am and 1pm

If Saturday doesn’t work for you, shirts can also be returned to McGregor’s Farm Services during the week.

Please note that the committee will be sending invoices to anyone who has not returned their shirt by Saturday. These shirts are an important part of our club kit, and we really need them all back.

If you missed prizegiving this arvo and your child didn’t receive their medal or certificate, we can arrange to get these to you when the shirt is returned.

🎉 OUR GAZEBO IS HOME! 🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to share that our MAFC gazebo has been safely returned! 💛⚽️

A huge thank you to everyone who shared our post, asked questions, kept an eye out and helped spread the word. Our football community really does come together when it matters!

Now we’re keeping our fingers crossed for our pending grant application, with the outcome due early next week. If successful, we could still be giving our gazebo a fresh new MAFC-branded cover! 🤞

Most importantly, our gazebo is back where it belongs and ready to support our teams, BBQs, tournaments and First Kicks.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL | LAST DAY TOMORROW!

We know the weather forecast isn’t looking particularly promising 🌧️, but we’re ready to finish the season the only way we know how… rain, hail or shine! 💪⚽️

👉 All games at Morrinsville Fields will go ahead tomorrow.

A few things to know:
☕️ No BBQ tomorrow, but our coffee cart will be there to keep everyone warm!
☂️ Coach Nico will be walking around selling club umbrellas for anyone needing some extra protection from the elements.
⚽️ And most importantly, we’ll be celebrating the last day of junior football for the season!

We’re looking forward to seeing our beautiful MAFC community, along with all our visiting teams, and finishing the season together. 💛🖤

Bring your jackets, gumboots and best weatherproof attitude! 😂🌧️
