Hamilton Golf Club began in 1903 and moved to St Andrews where the current course opened in 1913 Our most renown would have to be the par 3 18th.
The St Andrews course was opened in April 1913, and while originally an inland links style course, today it is more picturesque with some holes bordering the mighty Waikato River. None more so the challenging par 5 fourth hole, a short dogleg giving the player many options on the drive and second shot, but the river is always lurking to catch the wayward shot.
