Evening all,

I’m finally able to post these and congratulate all the boys who have made higher honours. A fantastic achievement to have so many St John’s boys make the U18 Waikato, U17 Harlequins and U16 Waikato teams. Unfortunately we don’t have the team lists for the U18 Waikato Maori or the U16 Pacifica teams, these will be posted as soon as we receive them.

Another Division won by a St John’s team, on Saturday the U14 Blue team won the Waikato U14 Division 1 Championship beating HBHS Maroon 27-5. These young men have had a fantastic season, well done lads.

The future is looking bright for St John’s rugby with both the U14’s and U15’s winning their respective comps and the 2nd 15 winning the Provincial Union cup.

Game 3 and final of 3 for the Provincial Union Cup done and won. Our boys 62 - Hauraki 12. Massive mihi to our 2nds' lads who ended their season after the season with the PU Cup in Hand. What a way to finish, and send it for our outgoing year 13s. Well done lads. We are all super proud of you.

Still a few games to go for the season.

The weekend games start with the U55kg lads playing HBHS at St John’s this afternoon at 4.15pm. Go well lads.

The Waikato XV have their final game on the Provincial Cup this weekend at 10am. All the final games of the PU Cup are being played at Marist, so should be a fantastic day. Good luck young men.

The U14 Blue side are playing in their Final against HBHS Maroon at HBHS at 9am. Go hard lads, you got this.

The final game of the weekend is the U15 Blue team playing over in Morrinsville. Make the trip worth it boys and come back winners.

Lastly congratulations to all the winners of awards at Prize giving last night. These awards are never easy decisions for coaching groups and there always worthy players who miss out, so you should be proud to be selected as the recipients.
