Osu WCK Whanau.
As you are all aware we had a great contingent of members attend this weekends Seminar with the head of our organisation Kancho Matsui, supported by Shihan Gorai, and other Shihans from the South Pacific and Romania.
What a great weekend, lots of learning and sharing of knowledge. I know those who attended would have gained something from this experience.
Thank you Shihans Steve, Shihan Diane, and all the others who helped and contributed to the success of the weekend. A special thank you to MAK Dojo, and all the whanau who welcomed us, feed us, entertained us, and even provided transport for us. Arohanui from us all.
The time now is to apply what was learned and improve upon the things Kancho spoke about.
See you all at training.

Osu WCK Whānau,
Grading Day is officially done and dusted!
What an incredible day we shared on Saturday, kicking off at 9:00am and finishing at 1:00pm. A huge congratulations to every student who stepped onto the floor and challenged themselves.
To our supporters, participants, and spectators, thank you for bringing your energy, encouragement, and support throughout the day. Your presence helped create an atmosphere that lifted everyone involved.
A special thank you to Shihan Tahi for overseeing the grading and guiding our students to perform at their very best, motivating everyone to strive for excellence.
This grading truly embodied the spirit of kyokushin. There was genuine "blood, sweat, and tears", a true reflection of the perseverance, and heart shown by everyone on the floor.
As you reflect on your grading journey, remember that this achievement is not the finish line, but the beginning of the next stage of growth. Take the lessons learned, the confidence you've gained, and the challenges you've overcome, and bring that same energy back into the dojo.
Let's keep the momentum going. Set your next goals, sharpen your spirit, support your fellow karateka, and continue striving to become the best version of yourselves.
Congratulations to you all. See you in the dojo, ready to train harder, learn more, and grow stronger together.
Osu!
Osu WCK,
Because Grading is this Saturday I am comfortable for you not to wear your Gi tonight for training. But it must be clean, tidy and ironed for Saturday.
To those who have been invited to grade, congratulations. For those who have not been invited to grade, you are more than welcome to support those who are, by participating in the grade.
Grading info is as follows:
9:00am Start - Make sure you are there early.
Crawshaw School.
Crawshaw Drive
Please ensure you have everything you need, water, towel, sparring gear, spare Gi etc. Weather dependant, there will be a run so ensure you have your running shoes too.
Also please bring a plate for shared lunch for after the grading.
Lastly, remember grading is a day for you to demonstrate what you have learned, and show others how much you have grown. Please feel free to invite those, who mean the most to you, along to support you and share in that growth.
See you all for training tonight.
