The Waikato Treasure Chest contingent of Kiwi Pinks has had an incredible time at IBCPC in France, paddling at both Aix-les-Bains and Annecy and making memories to last a lifetime! 💕🇫🇷

After an unforgettable adventure, the treasures are heading home with full hearts, happy memories and plenty of stories to tell!

Happy Father’s Day to all the WTC dads!

Today we’re celebrating the dads (and others who “dad”) who support, encourage, cheer us on and put up with our crazy dragon boat adventures! 😂

A special shout-out to our WTC dad and coach Shaneo, who’s taken the father-daughter combo to the next level — coaching and training his daughter Gracie to become a dragon boat sweep. 🐉

Day One of the Waikato Dragon Boat Association’s sessions with the Hamilton Girls’ High School Advanced PE classes saw around 90 students jump into dragon boats to learn the basics, work together and, most importantly, have some fun on the water.

The Waikato Treasure Chests loved being part of the day and helping introduce so many young women to our amazing sport. It’s always fantastic to see new faces giving dragon boating a go!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the morning such a success. Bring on next week’s sessions—we’re looking forward to doing it all again!
