The team have their first game tomorrow against Syria 11pm (NZ Time). The tournament is held in India (Aug 13-23). The top 4 teams will qualify for the FIBA U19 World Cup 2027!

Congratulations to Grind Elite player Gia Bishop, for being selected into the U16 All Star 5. She was the 4th Overall Top Scorer averaging 20.86ppg! Gia was a standout in the playoff games, putting up bug numbers for Porirua to help them get the silver at the U16 Nationals 🥈

Congratulations to Grind Elite player Keira-El Curtis, for being selected into the U16 All Star 5. She was dynamic all week long being the 2nd Overall Top Scorer averaging 23.14ppg! She was a main player for Porirua to help them get silver at the U16 Nationals 🥈

Congratulations to Grind House athlete Benjamin Marsh, for being selected into the U18 All Star 5. He was the 5th Overall Top Scorer at the recent U18 Nationals averaging 21.71ppg! Ben was electric all week and was a main player for Canterbury to help them win the National Championship 🏆
