Hang Ten Circus School

We are excited to offer a FREE 9-week circus programme for ~18 kids and youth~ aged 5–18, thanks to Sport Canterbury - West Coast Tū Manawa funding.

Participants will learn aerial silks, aerial hammock and/or aerial hoop, with opportunities to explore other circus skills like hula hoops, poi, cartwheels and handstands.

📍 Thursday after school during Term 3
📍 The Regent, Greymouth
📅 30 July – 24 September 2026

This programme is designed to support young people who face barriers to participating in sport and active recreation. Places will be allocated based on demonstrated interest, potential benefit, and the programme's funding criteria.

We welcome applications from young people, parents and caregivers, as well as referrals from schools, youth workers, health providers, social services and community organisations.

🎪Community Circus - $5 - Casual family friendly class, come and go as you please (all ages welcome)

🎪Kids/Youth Circus - $10 - Kids learn through play in this aerial and ground based circus class (ages 4 and up)

🎪Aerial Fitness - $12.50 - All levels class, choose your aerial apparatus (adults and youth)

Come say hi anytime between 1.30pm–3.30pm — no booking required. This is a relaxed, all-ages session, so bring yourself or come along with friends and family.

Have a go at spinning hula hoops and poi, or try out silks, hammock and hoop. Or simply relax in our loft lounge, catch up with friends, and watch your kids play below.
