🎣 Bluefin Tuna season is nearly here, and Greymouth will soon be swimming with fishing enthusiasts from all over the country – so check out our map to see where you can park.

Southern bluefin tuna feed heavily off places like Greymouth and Westport before tracking north.

To help keep things running smoothly during the busy season, please make use of the designated parking area for cars and boat trailers in Cobden, just over the Cobden Bridge. Check out the map below for where you can — and can’t — park, so no one gets caught drifting into the wrong spot.

There is also a designated area available for freedom campers. Please remember that all vehicles must be fully self-contained, as our parking warden will be making regular rounds — and he’s got a good eye for anything that’s off course, so don’t get hooked by a fine!
