Did anyone happen to accidentally pick up a pair of Birkenstock sandals over the weekend at the U14 girls tournament?
We have a girl that has lost a pair and would love to get them back ☺️

Our U14 girls tournament has had some great games played.
Last night our Eastern A team played against Lightning Storm and won 81-32
Today’s games:
Eastern A vs SC Black: 52-26
Eastern B vs Otago Yellow: 29-36
Eastern A vs Thunderstorm: 68-13
Eastern B vs SC Green: 34-26

These girls are playing their hearts out and playing some great basketball.
We have more great games tomorrow, come and watch and support the canteen (cash only)

We also have 4 awesome Eastern referees doing a great job, pretty proud of them!!

🏀 U14 Girls Pre-Season Tournament this weekend! 🏀

ESBA is excited to host teams from across the region for our U14 Girls Pre-Season Tournament, running Friday 21 – Sunday 23 August, at Archer Stadium and MLT in Gore.

📅 Friday: Eastern A girls kick things off at 5:30pm, Archer Stadium
📅 Saturday & Sunday: Games run from 8:30am to 3pm at both Archer Stadium and MLT

Come along and support our Eastern A and B teams as they take on sides from Otago, South Canterbury, and beyond!

☕ Canteen open at Archer Stadium — our U14B girls will be running the canteen across the weekend to raise funds for their upcoming trip to the Dunedin Tournament. Pop in for a bite and support the girls while you're cheering on the action!

Eastern Southland Basketball Association (ESBA) is partnering with BBNZ to bring Girls Got Game (GGG) and Kiwi Hoops to our community — and we want YOU to be part of it!

We're looking for keen locals who want to learn how to deliver these awesome programs, with an experienced coach from Invercargill showing you the ropes this first term. By the end of it, you'll be running the show yourself!

✅ No experience necessary — just enthusiasm and a love for basketball
