Our E Grade Ladies are off this morning, heading south to represent Surf City and the Eastern District at the G.J.Gardner Homes National SuperChamps!!! 💙💛🖤

It’s an early start for the girls, with the event not kicking off until tomorrow. But being a little isolated here in Gisborne means getting anywhere can be a mission! 😅 So getting down a day early gives the team plenty of time to settle in, get organised and be ready to hit the courts tomorrow! 👊🏆

Safe travels ladies — enjoy the trip, represent us proudly and go well! 🔥

There’s something special about SuperChamps week at Surf City. We bloody love it! 💙💛🖤

This year we have FIVE Surf City teams heading out across the country — from the far north in Kerikeri to the deep south in Invercargill. 🗺️🔥

Five teams. Five locations. One Surf City. 💙💛🖤

The action gets underway later this week, so make sure you follow along, cheer on our teams and show them some Surf City love from home! 📣👏

💙💛🖤 Introducing Turanga Tauhinu Sports Hub 🖤💛💙

Surf City Squash is incredibly proud to be part of the journey towards Turanga Tauhinu Sports Hub — an exciting vision for the future of sport in our region.

We’re excited to embrace the Hub and what it can mean for our sporting community. A facility that brings sports together, creates greater opportunities for participation and reflects our people, our place and our collective sporting identity is something we’re very proud to support.

The name Turanga Tauhinu carries an important whakapapa and story, endorsed by Te Whānau-a-Iwi / Te Aitanga-a-Māhaki and Ngāi Tāwhiri / Rongowhakaata, and gifted by Morehu Pewhairangi and Taharakau Stewart.

We encourage our members and wider squash community to take a moment to read the attached information sheet and learn more about the story behind the name and the vision for the Hub.

There’s plenty more to come, and Surf City Squash is excited to be part of what comes next.

We’re wrapping up the season with a full day of squash followed by the Squash Eastern Awards Evening!

What an awesome day following on from our **Surf City Open**, with the club hosting a **625 Series** event today! 💙💛🖤

With **double series points available at Surf City**, we had a huge turnout and plenty of juniors getting stuck into some great competitive squash. 👊🏆
