2024 Purina ProPlan NZ National Dog Show

The race to Manfeild is over! a message from the show director is below.

The event of the year is finally over. The National Dog Show Committee have been meeting every Monday for many months to make this National happen. Many hours of planning behind the scenes, to make this the special event that it was. Special thanks to the Show Manager Steve Tate who made the show run very smoothly with no disruptions.

Also thanks to Lynley Bray who organised the camping and all the satellite Shows. Amanda Calman, as our Operational Manager, did a wonderful job coordinating all the different roles and with Steven Thompson was able to work on an accurate Show Budget. Steven Thompson did a great job with our partner Sponsor Prizes, Purina Proplan food prizes and PD Insurance Prize Packs. We were very fortunate to have Grooming, Trade Stalls and Steward organisers which made the Show run as well as it did. Many thanks to all the Committee members and helpers, far too many to name. Without your help the show would not have been such a success.

BEST IN SHOW LIVE STREAM
On Saturday 7 September 2024, we will be live streaming Best in Show from the Purina Pro Plan 2024 National Dog Show. A live streaming link will be available, on Saturday, on the front page of the Dogs New Zealand web site.
Commentators will be international All Breeds judges Stephen Meredith and Kirstin Price.

Hey remember if you want dinner from KR’s for an evening meal they need to be pre ordered by 11am each day. Details in a previous post. There is also a food truck outside the venue tonight for those wanting dinner.

Hey everyone, the toilets are for humans, dog are not allowed. People have already been caught taking dogs in to the toilet, please don’t.

The National Dog Show committee and Dogs New Zealand wishes everyone a safe journey to the show, we are all looking forward to Tuesday morning kicking off with Utility and hounds. A link to the BIS live stream will be posted during the week.
