Kaikorai Cricket Club based in Kaikorai Valley Dunedin, have teams in all grades of men's cricket, and a junior club for kids aged 5-13 years of age.
Formed in 1912, the Kaikorai Cricket Club has contributed to both Otago and New Zealand Cricket. Representative players included great cricketers such as Bert Sutcliffe, Bryan Andrews, Bevan Congdon and Lance Cairns. Prominent overseas players have also based themselves at Kaikorai including England international Neil Mallender who played for 10 seasons during the 80s and early 90s. The clubs home

On this day in 2016:
Former Kaikorai captain, Iain Robertson, whacked what we believe to be the fastest hundred in the club's history (34 deliveries).
Unfortunately, the other 11 blokes (12 batters??) either weren't interested in batting out their 50 overs or couldn't pick Sodhi's googly.
We're calling out for any records or memorable games (good or bad) from the club's history, as we collate these for a rescheduled centenary celebration (TBC).

The “Hounds” have now gone back-to-back in the Dunedin Premier Grade and this year set the pace in 2 out of 3 formats. A very strong second half of the season saw them lift the sought-after shield with 1 game to spare.
