In case you missed the memo
Course is to be remaining closed tomorrow (Wednesday) so no competiton.
Greens are fine will come up a treat when we can get back on them but unfortunately the bottom corner from no 2 tee to no 3 greens is just too soupy.
Hopefully with a bit of wind around we may be open Thursday.
What's on at the Park
Slow start to the week as we welcome Spring believe it or not. Temps look set to rise to mild the next few days before Sunday again looks a turning point with more rain on the way.
Course is still closed today and unfortunately the decision has been made to to remain closed Wednesday while we drain the ditches to allow the surface water a place to go.
Saturday
With the women's matchplay over and out, the are playing an LGU while the men play a stableford while Davey Mc and Ho**er fight it out for the Handicap Matchplay title.
Sunday is open to the public... Weather permitting.

Congratulations Debbie Knapp who just joined us this year, winning the women's Handicap Cup from Lesley Greenbank (excuse the error) on Saturday. Not a bad way to kick off your Island Park career!
Karen Botting took out the flights from Marian Scott.

Saturday's special prize list.
Well done to Dave McDonald and Gary Pohatu for reaching the Handicap Matchplay final aka Singles Knockout.
Also a big 🤜🤛 to Hunter Paterson smashing through the 80 mark with a 76 off the stick beating dad Rooster and drawing the twos pot.

Course is closed until Wednesday at this stage but could be longer with snow flurries arriving early on the hills right now.
We will provide an update tomorrow on prospects for the week.
