TOURNAMENT WEEK | JMC SENIOR A

Next up for Tournament Week is our JMC Senior A squad, locked in for the 2026 A South Island Southern Cup in Dunedin.

That’s a wrap on the South Island Junior Secondary School Basketball Premierships for our Junior A boys.

The team finishes the tournament in 9th place, ending the week on a high with an 83–59 win over Greymouth High School.

Plenty of growth across the tournament, some big individual performances, and most importantly, the boys continued to compete and improve together right through to the final game.

A huge thank you to the families and everyone who supported the team throughout the week.

A strong all-round team performance sees the boys take an 83–61 win over Mt Aspiring in the 9–12 playoff semi-final.
