The Hill City–University Athletic Club is a Dunedin based running, walking, harrier and athletic club that provides a friendly, inclusive, and welcoming community of all abilities- from beginners to elite athletes.

Thanks to everyone at the Shunters and Grunters relay yesterday. It was a fun day and battling into the wind showed some real character come out in the walkers and runners. Sorry there aren't photos of everyone.....but here's a wee taste of yesterday's action.

Shunters and Grunters entries will be closing at 7pm on Monday night (31/08/26). It's not a sprint, just enter a time that is representative of what speed you would like to run/walk it in. It's a relay that suits so many!

National awards aren't gifted, they are earned. Congratulations Brent on your award. The knowledge and commitment you have shared with so many athletes is nothing short of phenomenal and the results speak for themselves. This is so well deserved!

The club would like to acknowledge the passing of John Stinson. He was a stalwart of the Caversham Club and a friend to many. His contribution to athletics was notable and he was always a supportive voice on the sidelines for our athletes too. We have extended our condolences to the family and we would also like to extend our thoughts to those at Caversham Harrier and Athletics Club who have also lost a great friend and club member. It is a sad loss and he will be missed.

The Otago 5km Road Championships are this Saturday (August 15th) on the harbour cycleway (Starting Magnet St).
