What a fabulous day it turned out to be for the 2nd of our kids X Country fun runs up at Rotary Park.
The smiles on the faces of our 150+ kids said it all!
CONGRATULATIONS!
We apologise to those who ended up with a green ribbon at the end instead of the normal blue ribbon. Numbers far exceeded our expectations. We have more blue ribbons on order so if you would like to swap, please bring your green ribbon along to our final run at Chingford Park on Sunday 23rd August and if they have arrived we will happily swap them out. We totally understand the importance of collecting all the colours!!
Please remember to bring the name bid you filled out today to wear for that race also, and if you forgot your Can donation today, you can of course just bring an extra to our final race.
If you’ve enjoyed these events and are wondering if athletics is something your kids might enjoy, then check out our Ariki Children’s Athletics web page for more information. We run the NZ Athletics endorsed Get Set Go programme for 4-6 yr olds, and the Run Jump Throw programme for 7-14 yr olds, in terms 4&1, with our fabulous trained coaches on Monday evenings from 5.45pm -7pm. We encourage families who are unsure, to come along to our first training night to gauge if it’s right for your child.
Please feel free to chat to us about this at the next X Country race, or message us through our page.
We look forward to seeing you all again on the 23rd to collect your Red Ribbon!!! 🏃♂️
