Falcon loose

This car has never made an opening meeting and I’ve never had a car painted and finished by first practice, 12 years later we are on track 😅 just paint and tune to go

The cool tow rigs over the years they just Kept getting better. I don’t do trailers and obviously not in a hurry 🐌🐌 allthough the 6 cylinder Isuzu did go very good

“Car doesn’t need much, just fix broken rear arches” well yeah got a bit carried away done now and just boot floor, rear brake lines and door skins to go. To be fair i wasn’t that happy with last years rushed rebuild while moving house, the boot floor was 2 of my old production saloon roof skins welded together 🤦‍♂️

weekend we got the bus out of retirement in the paddock and went to Ashburton for the ladies streetstock championship with boss lady driving while I pit crewed and baby sat. With 19 cars, standing starts and contact Nicole was nervous, Day one first corner first race got her first spin and she was into it coming home with 10th,5th,4th and no damage. Day 2 nasty pile up in the first corner push into turn one turning hoop inside out but managed to finish 9th followed by a 2nd in 2nd race, ended up leading the last race until getting tangled up in last few laps and finished 3rd. Ended up 3rd over all for weekend, well done to Kat in 55D and Bella in 29c for 1st and 2nd was a great weekend thanks to all other competitors was a great weekend, Ashburton speedway for putting an awesome event and hoon r.w Richard’s for sponsoring it.
