Happy winter solstice everyone! We spent the day clearing this view to check out the validity of a very exciting thing that potentially may happen! But it will take a while, so don’t hold your breath. :)

The 550 natives we planted a few years ago (thanks Halo Project - Beyond Orokonui, friends, helpers and all involved) are growing like crazy, and on a day like today, there were over ten Pīwakawaka flitting and squeaking about following us, demonstrating their agility, including this stunner black one. 💕

It’s been quiet on the Pīwakawaka front, as Dell has been head down bum up studying for months (and months) for the final comprehensive all equipment STOTT Pilates theory and practical exams. Which we are super pleased to say have just finished!! A trip to Queenstown for a 7am Saturday two hour theory exam and then a Sunday 8am three hour (in total) practical. “This ties all five years of learning together. Thanks lots to for getting me out of immense pain and into Pilates you are an absolute legend, Sharon Be Pilates NZ for being the greatest instructor throughout the years (where do you get your energy consistently a ball of fire throughout), to Lee for being the bestest exam body and communication Queen extrodinaire, to alicelairdl for having the bestest attitude and wit as a study buddy, to all my clients for trusting in me and to Stephan for being there for me throughout. You all are amazing.”
