TEAM OF THE WEEK

Year 5 team:
The majority of the team have been together since ripper rugby with some new faces this season.

Coaches James and Lio have done another stellar job this year helping to build the skills of the team. We have seen a huge improvement in their second year of tackle rugby and the team have gelled together well.

It has been a really fun season this year with a few good wins.

We are very proud of our team and their progress throughout the season.
Thank you to our amazing parents for the quality support on the sidelines.

Last weekend, we had 10 of our amazing junior players take part in the club parade at One NZ Stadium before the Canterbury v Bay of Plenty match.

You guys did us proud! It was awesome to see you out there representing Darfield Rugby Club and wearing our colours proudly.

We celebrated our Senior Prize Giving on Saturday night, and it was a fantastic turnout from all teams!

Massive congratulations to all of our prize winners, our players for an awesome season, and our coaches, managers, trainers and physios for everything they have put in throughout the year.
