trees, we have a space for native trees to be planted on both ends of the newly planted pine blocks on the 13th hole. If any members wish to donate a tree or can contribute in any way that would be greatly appreciated.

11th September; Cape Turnagain Firms Day. 18 hole tournament, $30 entry fee (includes dinner) 10.30am Cup of tea / registration, 11.30am tee off. Golfers and Non golfer welcome

Paewai Trophy; Congratulations Dave Kerr 🏅 on your win in this event last weekend. 43 stableford points, great round. Getting you name on any trophy in the club is a great honor, but some are more special than others, and the Lui Paewai is one of those 🏆

year of Trophy competitions is drawing to an end, but we still need to complete them so names can be included in the year end Trophy list. A full list each year creates a written history for our records 🏆

30 Hole Strokeplay Tournament; Zane has been informed that this event will not be happening. That being the case, the Ruahine Rosebowl has been completed for the year, with Norsewood being the winners. Takapau are hosting the Hawkes Bay Eagles next weekend (22nd August) I am hopeful that the speeches at that event may give us an understanding of where the Club is at.

It was great to see some top quality players at our course as we endeavor to get this Tournament back on the Golf Hawkes Bay must play Tournament list.
