Here’s a sneak peek at the virtual designs for our Skatepark and Half Basketball Court — a space designed for fun, movement, confidence, and community connection.

This project is for our kids, our rangatahi, and future generations — and seeing it come to life (even virtually!) is pretty special.

$45,000 RAISED — WHAT A NIGHT!
We’re still buzzing! Our SPRING SWING was an absolute standout, and thanks to the incredible support of our community! To every ATHLETE who trained their hearts out, every SPONSOR who backed us, every VOLUNTEER who rolled up their sleeves, and every PERSON who bought a ticket, cheered, donated or supported in any way — this result is because of YOU.
The atmosphere was electric, the Town Hall was packed, and the community spirit was unreal. It’s moments like this that show Dannevirke cares about creating something special for our tamariki and rangatahi. The support for the skatepark project is not just strong — it’s inspiring.
Every dollar raised brings us one big step closer to a skatepark our young people can be proud of — a space for fun, confidence, connection and movement.

Our hearts are full after the Spring Swing — and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved.

To our incredible athletes — THANK YOU doesn’t say enough! You all were so awesome, you gave it everything in the ring, and we are stoked (and relieved) to hear you’ve all pulled up well! Your courage and commitment are what make this event so special.

Huge thanks to BAMS Boxing for preparing and guiding our athletes — your time, expertise, and energy have been second to none. The athletes were so well prepared that all the bouts were incredibly entertaining

To the officials and volunteers — you were the backbone of this event. Those working behind the bar and in the kitchen, clearing tables, selling raffles, etc etc etc you were all amazing and so appreciated!
