We’ve had our first tournament of the season.. after a coolish start , Cromwell turned on a beautiful day for the triples tournament sponsored by Dough Sea Dough & Central Otago Motors.

Friday Afternoon Winter Social bowls at the Cromwell Bowling Club continues
thanks to the weather gods who keep delivering us a sunshine window on Friday afternoons for a few hours & the artificial green which allows us to keep on bowling in the winter - we are continuing to get good numbers 🎉
Come join us for a bowl, a cuppa & a drink from the bar & a yarn .. the company’s AWESOME
& no one will tease you about your woolly hat look 🤥
Fridays names up by 1 pm on the outside board or leave a message on clubs answer phone that you’ll be playing ..

Congratulations to Dave Heath & Cliff Crawford who were made Life Members of the Cromwell Bowling Club at the clubs AGM this afternoon.

Both very worthy recipients of this highest honour which is a reflection of their many years of membership & service to the club.

Les Wilson ( also a Life Member) presented the badge to Dave.

Cliff is currently overseas and will be presented with his badge later in the year.
