Been a bit slack on the reporting!
Few weeks back we were racing at Ruapuna, where we lacked any practice and were a fair way off with car setup meaning we struggled all weekend. Not much more to report on that!
We went away with some work to do, which Will and Dad spent many hours sorting out the shocks and getting the car nice and balanced.
This weekend just been, we were at Timaru and it was like driving a completely different car, so it took a couple session of growing some confidence back.
We had a few issues in practice and then race 1 with the throttle disappearing and needing to turn the car off to re-set everything, but we managed to avoid any further issues for race 2 and 3 and coming away with P2 overall for the weekend.
Big thanks to our family team for all the hard work, Mr Al Marsh, Mr Toby Marsh, Mum for the club sandwiches and a special thanks to Mary-Anne for spending her birthday weekend at the track with us boys ๐
Next meeting is late January in Invercargill, which will be round 1 of the NZ Championship, and we hope to get some more laps in before then to improve the guy behind the steering wheel.
See you in Jan ๐ซก

Weekend complete โ๏ธ
Started race 2 off pole, about lap 4 the oil hose decided to give way, running over my own oil and spinning me out and getting collected by another car in the process. (Sorry for spilling oil everywhere)
The team worked hard between races to fix the damage done, and thankfully the engine was still okay.
Meant race 3 starting p24 and come up to 16th, was a lot of fun and just happy to put it on the trailer with no more issues.
Thanks to our team, especially dad for his organising and towing of the car up and down the country ๐๏ธ

Practice day done โ
Bit wet in practice 1 and a power steering issue in practice 2. Not as many laps done as we would have liked, but the car is all fixed and feels good, so we have a decent package to work with tomorrow!
