First day of Spring!
The team from PGG Wrightson Seeds stopped in en route to the west coast for a little corporate gathering!
A quick shoot, a bite to eat and a blast upstream under the watchful eye of P*e Wee and Alfie!
30 August - Christchurch
Big brown water hides the ‘gators.
Raul & Winston from Manila came looking with us in ‘Air Force 2’ but no luck!
Mind you, that view of the snow covered alps is pretty cool!

The team from Ternary Kinetics had a deep dive into the Waimakariri Gorge, exploring right through to Dixon’s Cove at the top of the gorge.
ALP 2 & ALP 8 handled the task with ease, the big water, providing a unique and exciting experience on river.
Jet Boat World provided an entree into Bill Hamilton’s world… with Robyn’s Gourmet Burger lunch the main!

A couple of days with blue sky and brown water have proven perfect conditions for Air Force 2, the only operational commercial airboat in NZ.
When the water flows through the weeds it’s time to go searching for ‘gators!👀🐊

Our Chinese guests joined a regular Japanese group from Sonoda today.
Big fun in big water as the overnight rain in the back country turned our water brown and doubled in size overnight.
Back on land Shepherd Raewyn entertained the kids, big and little with her dogs heading the ewes… but it was her two week old lambs who snatched a few hearts!
The Forest walk revealed an almost Kiwi!… and our big Matai… but as always ‘P*e Wee’ and ‘Alfie’ became the centre of attention after lunch.
What a top day for our guests… and us!!

The Waimakariri River was in ideal condition for a blast on the Braided Shallows in Christchurch.
This group was having the time of their lives!
