That’s a wrap on another Riccarton Netball Club season! 🏐💙🤍

A huge thank you to our committee, coaches and managers for all the mahi behind the scenes and for everything you do for the club - Ben, Mandy, Sharon, Caitlin, Liz, Mella and Jessie. A special thanks to Craig from Signtech for sponsoring our playing dresses, they looked so good on court!

It’s been awesome seeing all three teams have a great season, welcoming new players and continuing to grow as a club. We’re so proud of everyone’s commitment, especially our A team for making the Senior 2 Final and finishing 2nd overall!

SO proud of our A Team for making it into the FINAL! 🤍💙🏐

While we didn’t get the result we wanted, and there’s definitely some disappointment, I hope you all know just how incredibly proud the whole Riccarton Netball Club is of you.

You fought so hard from the first whistle right through to the final few minutes and never gave up. To make it all the way to the final is such an incredible achievement, and you should be so proud of yourselves and how far you’ve come this season.

Take a moment to look back at everything you’ve achieved and the mahi you’ve put in. You’ve represented RNC with so much heart, determination and pride.

We’re already so excited to see you all back on court next year and watch you continue the fight!

🏆FINALS DAY | What You Need to Know❤️🖤

A few important things to know before you arrive:

Grand Finals Times
6:30pm - U23 and U23 Mixed
7:30pm - Challenge 1, 2 & 3
8:05pm - Premier 1

🏆Finals Presentations - All teams playing in a final need to head straight up to the mezzanine as soon as your game has finished for presentations.

🎉Mezzanine Fun - There’ll be fun activations happening on the mezzanine, so make sure you head upstairs and get involved!

🍟Food & Drink - Catering in a Box café will be open.

❌Moving Around the Courts - Please try to get to your court before the game starts. If you do need to move while games are underway, please move quickly, stay close to the netting, and keep clear of our umpires. Please follow the directions of our staff and volunteers in pink vests.

🩷Need a hand? Look out for someone in a pink vest around the venue if you need any help.

❤️ Keep It Positive - Finals bring plenty of excitement, but remember to Keep It Positive and show respect to players, coaches, officials and supporters.

Our Riccarton A girls will be playing off for 1st / 2nd place after an incredible season. We couldn’t be more proud of what they, alongside coach Ben have achieved! Now it’s time to get behind them one more time - Please head along and support our girls and Ben from the sideline, they absolutely love and appreciate all the support! 💙📣

Our A Team are heading into Semi Finals next Saturday! What an amazing season they’ve had so far and now it’s time to get behind them as they fight for a spot in the Final! We would LOVE to see as many RNC supporters there as possible! Come along, bring the noise and help us cheer the girls and coach Ben on from the sideline!

Last night, Riccarton B said goodbye to Alanah 💙

For the past three years, Alanah has been a dedicated member of our club, an MVP, and an incredible defensive player who has given so much to the team both on and off the court.

She has received an earlier-than-expected call-up to Police College and is about to begin an exciting new chapter. While we’re sad to see her go, we couldn’t be prouder of her and everything she has achieved.

Thank you for your commitment, hard work, and the memories you’ve created with us. We wish you all the best for this next adventure and can’t wait to see where it takes you. Once a Riccarton player, always a Riccarton player 👮‍♀️
