❗️❗️❗️ TERM 2 INDOOR LEAGUE FINALE❗️❗️❗️
..and just like that the Term 2 league concluded with a tight match between blue and red, tied 6-6 at halftime, with blue coming in hot to beat red 15-10. Kāhu came in third place beating Tūī despite sitting 4th place for most of the season.
Every team played amazingly and it was great to see everyones skills and lax IQ flourish. Congrats especially to the top scorers with Tom Laney and Hannah Leng taking top scorers for men/women respectively. There must be something happening there 😉. Awesome to see Zac take most improved and Harrison Dorr locking in MVP for the league!
We hope you enjoyed the social league and can't wait to see you all (plus more friends) in our Term 3 league.

Succesful BYO mish last week!!!
Thanks to those who came for an exquisite drinking event, it was a blast and we hope you enjoyed our Captain going down with her ship 😉
If you are itching for some more, fret not because we are lovers of fermented fruit and will be hosting again in term 3 sometime.

Following the success of last year’s men’s field lacrosse weekend in Wellington (with Wellington, Canterbury, and Te Awamutu Lacrosse clubs), we are pleased to announce that we will be bringing it back this year!

Forget about Autumn this year, the teams have been rustling all the leaves off the trees this season.
The Kākā and Tūī are currently tied in points with the Whio just waddling behind.
Only two more rounds before the finals take place, who will take to the skies this year?!?!
Congrats to Liam Dobson for MVP, the top scorers and for those who played goalie, you guys have been killing it!

❗️❗️❗️ EXPRESSION OF INTEREST❗️❗️❗️
It's almost that time of year again for the 2026 University indoor lacrosse tournament. This is an awesome opportunity to represent UC in a fun lacrosse tournament.
Sign up if you are keen to play (even if you are a beginner). We are planning to have 2-3 teams with trials and selections made by the Exec. Don't be intimated by 'trials' this is mainly for the top team whereas are B and C teams are more social teams.
When: 10-12th July (Fri-Sunday)
Why: Super fun tournament!!!
Where: BACK HERE IN THE SOUTH!!!

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...
It was bird and the team announcement!
This years theme is He manu o Aotearoa (Birds of New Zealand). Wear your teams colours if you can! Get creative and try think of a team chant based on your bird!
