A huge congratulations to some of our New Brighton Rugby players from Year 7 Spence and Year 8 Harris, who represented South New Brighton Primary at the Primary School Zones, proudly wearing our club colours!

The boys helped take out the #1 spot in the tournament what an awesome achievement!

You all did our colours incredibly proud and showed great skill, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.

What a great afternoon down at NBRFC yesterday for Canterbury Rugby in Clubs!

We were lucky enough to have Tyson Belworthy, Ryan Crotty, a few of the Canterbury NPC lads and the team from CRU down at our home grounds, putting on an awesome afternoon of rugby and training.

It was fantastic to see so many tamariki from NB and the surrounding areas getting the opportunity to train alongside our NPC players. The smiles, enthusiasm and energy from the kids made the afternoon one to remember!

A huge thank you to Great Southern Pies for keeping our bellies full and handing out your delicious pies they certainly didn’t last long!

NBRFC, you were outstanding! What an awesome turnout and a great way to showcase our club and community.

CANTERBURY IN CLUBS IS TODAY!

We’re excited to welcome Canterbury NPC players and Canterbury Rugby down to New Brighton Rugby Club TODAY from 4:00–5:00pm for an afternoon of rugby, fun and activities.

A few things to know:

Clubrooms & Bar OPEN — parents can come inside and keep warm while the event is happening!

Great Southern Pies will be there with some goodies.

Parking: Please use Rawhiti Domain and help us keep the club grounds clear for the after-school programme.

We’d love to see all our players, families and members dressed in our colours down at the club!
