And that's a wrap on South Islands 2026!! Thanks so much to everyone who traveled to Dunedin for this championship - skaters, parents and officials. Congratulations to all the skaters - whether they achieved personal bests or National records, you are all amazing!
Looking forward to seeing you all again at the New Zealand Championships in Dunedin, September 4-6!

Congratulations and well done to all the skaters who competed today in the CAISC Cup at Alpine Ice! It was exciting to see all the new skaters in their first races, and great to get the jitters out before heading to Dunedin for the South Island Championships in 3 weeks time.
There were 7 domestic records broken! (*to be ratified). Great work!
Thank you so much to all of our officials, who volunteered their time. We couldn't do it without your assistance.
And finally, congratulations to our raffle winners. The winning tickets were sold by the Huang Family, the Sun Family and the Cowan family.
